What are the key requirements for obtaining BRC Global Standards Certification? A company must meet a set of rigorous and well-defined requirements that ensure product safety, quality, legality, and compliance. BRCGS certification is typically valid for 12 months; however, the audit frequency may be shortened based on a site's audit grade or score. To maintain BRCGS certification, a passing annual audit is required, and every third audit is unannounced.
